The Fabric of Society is a shop like no other. Established in July 2006 as Femme de Brocante, when its founders identified a gap in the market for affordable, designer fabrics for the home. A change of name to The Fabric of Society (April 2018) is a change in name and branding only. Nothing like a change to keep up with constantly evolving trends.
Emily (one of the founding owners), and her experienced staff are always on hand to offer advice and assist you. They all have a passion for interior design and all things gorgeous. Whether it’s fabric for a cushion or for the whole house, a lamp, or a question on painted furniture, they are there to help you every step of the way.
Situated in Rangiora, just a short drive from Christchurch, their showroom is a delight to behold and a treat for those with a fabric fetish. They are committed to supplying you with top quality designer fabrics at heavily discounted prices. Their fabrics are sourced from New Zealand suppliers as well as from Europe, the United States and India, and could normally retail in New Zealand for hundreds per metre. However, The Fabric of Society are able to offer you fabrics from as little as $10 per metre.
